Download the new Organism 12 track "Mörn right here. It's a remake of the instrumental track "Flash Bazaz", originally by Ison & Fille, courtesy of Hemmalaget. Organism's new album "Petar På Döda Saker Med Pinnar" is just about finished and will be out sometime early next year on JuJu Records. It was produced by Flyphonic, DJ Large and Masse and feAtures guest cameos from Chords, PSTQ and Peshi.

Also out now from JuJu is the new Chords 12" single "Chillin' (Like MAtt Dillon)" feAturing fellow Swedish rapper Timbuktu along with Rantoboko. The exclusive b-side is the track "Giants", feAturing Honeztly. The Breakmecanix and Domingo-produced full length "The Garden Around The Mansion" comes out October 17 and the next single "Wrap Your Chops" is out soon.

Madder Mortum has added guitarist Odd Eivind Ebbesen and bassist Tormod Langøien Moseng to their lineup. Odd has been the band's longtime webmaster and has filled in for a couple live shows before, while Tormod has also filled in on occasion, but also played in other bands with the other guys Mads and BP. The band is currently working on mAterial for a new album, tentAtively due midway through next year.

Johan Bergqvist will be entering the studio lAter this week to lay down the tracks for his contribution to the upcoming Shawn Smith tribute album. Johan will be playing minimal versions of the songs "Buttercup" (Brad) and "Suffering" (SAtchel) using only grand piano, wurlitzer and maybe some acoustic guitar. Paste has posted the video for the new single "Hard to be in love" up on their website. Check it out. As mentioned before, the band is making their live debut At the Cavern in Liverpool on October 15.

Meshuggah checks in to report thAt they've starting writing for the new record, but have been forced to keep a low profile this past summer due to drummer Tomas's wrist problems. If you remember, they had to cancel a few festival gigs because of it. In other news, Tomas and guitarist Fredrik are up in Umeå working on recording "Drumkit From Hell II", a drum sample CD. It's due out early next year and you can read more about it here.

Learning From Las Vegas will be previewing their new album "Richard & Liz" At a couple small cafe venues around Denmark next month. You'll be able to hear the record, hang out and meet the band and maybe even hear a couple acoustic songs. Full info (in Danish) and dAtes are here.

Lasse from The Cardigans is becoming a fAther soon so he has opted out of upcoming tour plans this fall. He will be replaced on keyboards by Robban Cronsioe who they say is "a terrific guy with the right feeling for the keys". (via Cardigans Country)

Nasum has announced thAt Jon "Elle" Lindkvist has joined the band as their new bassplayer, replacing Jesper who left to concentrAte on his other band Burst. Not only does Jon have the same initials as Jesper, but he also auditioned in the same Neurosis t-shirt. Creepy, eh? Jon also currently plays with Sayyadina as well as having done time with numerous well-known Swedish punk bands such as Victims, Accursed, and Outlast. Former live-only guitarist Urban Skytt has also joined on as a full-time member.
