Meshuggah has parted ways with bassist Gustaf Hielm and have replaced him with Dick Löwgren (ex-In Flames, Arch Enemy). Gustaf's statement:

"I'm saddened that they don't want me in there anymore but this is the second time I'm asked to leave so I can handle it by now. And most important, I'm still playing! That will never go away.
As for Meshuggah, I'm glad I got to be in what I consider THE metal band and I wish them and their new bass player the best of luck."

District 19 Inc. and Unity Is All records will release the debut from "Sweden’s first uncompromising hardcore band" Path of No Return. Self-described as "the heaviness of Hatebreed mixed with the unconventional riffs of Meshuggah and the pure hate of Slayer, then spice[d] up with a bit of the fresh Orange County mosh and the rawness of Cro-Mags and Youth Of Today,", but why not decide for yourself by checking out these two mp3s: "I Will Rip Your Life Apart" / "Forever Gone"

The Meshuggah songs "Perpetual Black Second" and "Straws Pulled at Random" will be featured in the game 'Fallout: Brotherhood of steel' from Interplay. The band is also reportedly confirmed for this summer's Arvika Festival.
