I am seriously stoked - radio station Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles played KVLR yesterday on the 'Dead Air' program alongside a ton of other highly respected artists like the Mountain Goats, Calexico and PJ Harvey. Not bad, eh? Now the thing to do would be to call or email the station to make sure they play it again. For info on the 'Dead Air' program, go here (full playlist should be posted soon). For contact/request info, go here.

Whoah! Komeda will be featured on NPR's "All Things Considered" on May 25. Hopefully they'll mention their work with KVLR besides just promoting their own record, but that's probably just wishful thinking on my part. More on ATC: http://www.npr.org/programs/atc/
Speaking of e-commerce, KVLR and Isolation Years are both now available for purchase from the Apple I-Tunes store! Huzzah!
Speaking of filming, KVLR will be doing a video for the song "Birthcam" tomorrow. It will be released as the second European single from the new self-titled album and like the first single "Slow Clapping", it also features the amazing vocal talents of Lena Karlsson from Komeda.
My boys KVLR are now confirmed for the Kaktusfestivalen in Arboga, Sweden on July 23. In celebration of the release of KVLR's new album in the US today, I give you a new mp3 from the album. "Traitors and Thieves" is one of my favorite tracks and I hope you like it too.
Don't forget - KVLR's new self-titled album will be officially released in the US tomorrow! Buy it!
