Khoma have been signed by Catch 'n Release, the new label founded by Anders Fridén (In Flames) and Daniel Tivemark (ex-Nuclear Blast?). The band is still hard at work on their next album which will be released spring 2010. Read more at the band's new website: https://www.khoma.se/
Emphatic pop/indie act Shiloh have signed with Panic & Action and will be releasing the new EP "Forever lost" on November 18. Said EP contains six new tracks plus two remixes by Niklas Von Arnold and Karl Linus. The band also reports that they have started referring to themselves as The Shiloh, so don't get confused if you see it listed that way.
Transubstans has signed Swedish act Sideburn and will be releasing their third album "The demon dance" in early 2010. The band is described as "a fine mix of 70's hardrock (Zeppelin, Mountain) and Sabbath during the Dio years and with a hint of modern stoner thrown in for the final touches" and shares a vocalist with (now) labelmates Mangrove.
Norwegian indie label Metronomicon Audio will release the new Now We've Got Members album "Repulsive force" on November 23. The Nordic House in Reykjavik, Iceland will play host to the first annual World Music Safari Explosion on November 13-14. The event will feature folk and world music acts representing every Nordic country including Dj Nad Jee (NOR), Katrine Suwalski (DK), Trans-Nations (DK), Dida (Greenland), Helgi og Hljódfaeraleikararnir (IS), Another World (DK), Shava (FIN), Punjabi Band (SWE) and Skrå (Åland).
