Swedish alt-country act The Lancaster Orchestra is apparently on hold for a bit, along with the release of their new album "The death of an orchestra". They say they'll be back on track in 2010, but we shall see.
IAT favorite Tobias Hellkvist will be making his live solo debut on November 17 at the church Trinitakis Kirke in Copenhagen, together with P Jørgensen and others. Def sounds like something worth checking out.
Danish artist As in RebekkaMaria has dropped the "As in" from her name and will henceforth be known as only RebekkaMaria. Filthy Swedish death metal upstarts Bastard Priest report that mixing is still underway on their debut full-length album, now revealed to be named "Under the hammer of destruction". It will include re-recordings of all tracks from their first 2007 demo, most of the "Merciless insane death" CS demo tracks and three new ones, something like 10-11 songs total. Blood Harvest will be releasing it on both LP + CD and you can peep the cover art here.
Swedish rock'n'roll label Bootleg Booze will be releasing a new LP comp on December 11 called "Up North/Downunder" featuring 12 exclusive/previously unreleased tracks from their favorite Swedish and Australian rock acts. Here's the tracklist:

Scraps of Tape will be playing their final Swedish gig with member Mikael Persson on Friday, October 23 at Debaser Malmö. The show will also serve as the kickoff for their European tour with Solander which begins on Saturday.

I haven't heard "Those who walk the last mile" yet, but "...And they slept with their eyes open" is killer Sonic Youth worship noiserock -- very recommended!

[ingenting] will release two new singles from their great new record "Tomhet, idel tomhet" on October 28, "Dina händer är fulla av blommor" and "Ge tillbaka det", both of which are duets. Sibille Attar is the guest vocalist on the first, while the latter is a cover tune of "Give it back to you" by Heikki and features Heikki vocalist Maria Eriksson. In addition to the now-typical digital release, there will also be a limited vinyl edition with each song taking up a side.
