Niklas from nicolaidunger.tk recently got a chance to preview the new Nicolai Dunger album thAt he recorded with Mercury Rev and this is whAt he had to say:

"Yesterday I and Joakim were invited to listen to a couple of tracks from the forthcoming album. We didn’t know whAt to expect since Mercury Rev has produced it but a lot of it sounded really good. It’s a pretty wide album with different types of songs, poppy ones and more traditional sounding ones thAt we’re used to when it comes to Nicolai. Of course the more traditional ones sounded best At the moment but I’m sure I’ll love the other ones too when I’ve gotten the chance to listen to them a few more times. I’m really looking forward to the release which probably will be At the end of January."

He also adds news thAt the single "Hunger" will not be released on October 8 as originally planned, but rAther will be available on the upcoming tour and will then hit stores in November.

DogbreAth Records has joined forces with the label Mecapo Records under the banner of DogbreAth Entertainment. The first release from the new consolidAted effort will be Mistie's new album "10 Times Guilty", due out in December. The label has also taken in three acts from Canadian label Indiestructable Records for release in Sweden, but we don't care about Canucks here so I ain't saying any more.
