New mp3 today from Sophie Zelmani, one of the many fine artists that made it to my year-end list. There's something so soothing and comforting in her voice and delivery, even when singing about the most tragic of subjects. I just love how restrained it is. Even when the strings and horns are playing on the final chorus, it's still very, very subdued. That's about the limit of how anthemic and epic the album gets, too. Perfect rainy day music.
