Under Byen is doing a trio of shows in Poland next month:

The new Under Byen "Samme stof som stof" remix LP as done by Goodiepal should be out soon, hopefully in time for the band's Danish shows at the end of the month.

Under Byen frontwoman Henriette Sennenvaldt will (once again) be contributing guest vocals to the upcoming Giant Sand album "Provisions". For those unaware, Giant Sand frontman Howe Gelb's wife is Danish, hence the connection to the local scene there.

The upcoming Under Byen live EP that they recorded with The Danish Radio Sinfonietta is now confirmed for release on February 18 with the title "Siamesisk".

Stine Sørensen, Sara Saxild (both of Under Byen) and Anne Brønsted (Our Broken Garden and The Sad Lovers) are setting up a one-day music festival for female artists. The event will be called "Enna Bella From Hell'A" and is set to happen at Øst For Paradis in Aarhus, Denmark on November 17. Artists confirmed so far include Taxi Taxi!, Wet Dog and Maria Laurette Friis (Tys Tys) who will perform with theremin player Pamelia Kurstin. More details: http://www.ennabellafromhella.dk/

The material that Under Byen recorded live with the Danmarks Radios Underholdningsorkester back in April will be released as an EP in early November.

Under Byen will be recording their appearance at the upcoming Haldern Pop Festival in Germany later this week for release as a live EP.
