Long-running grindcore act General Surgery has posted an mp3 rough mix of the track "Necrodecontamination" from the forthcoming split 7" with Machetazo. They've also posted a bunch of other news about the band's current activities over at their website, so head over to check it out.

It took awhile, but Aversionline has finally updated with a new issue featuring an interview with Born from Pain out of Holland, around 130 new reviews including Darwin, Darkthrone, Disfear, Enslaved, Fleurety, General Surgery, Imperious, Isengard, Muskel, Skepticism, Ulver and Ved Buens Ende, plus tons more. Check it out.

Legengary cult grindcore band General Surgery has added Johan Wallin from Repugnant and Scurvy on second guitar. In other news, the band is currently working on a video for the track "Lab Rat" from their split with fellow gore-obsessed Carcass-worshippers The County Medical Examiners from the US. Glenn Sykes from Regurgitate will direct and you can listen to an mp3 of the track here. Lastly, GS will entering the studio in October to record some tracks for upcoming splits with Machetazo (Spain) and Butcher ABC (Japan), both due out from Escorbuto Recordings.

It's been quite some time since they put anything out, but semi-legendary grindcore band General Surgery has announced plans to release a bunch of new material in the coming year. If I remember right, the band was lacking a drummer for awhile and was put on hold because of it. Anyhow, they've got a split 7" with Spain's Machetazo and a split 12" with Japan's Butcher ABC coming out on Escorbuto Recordings soon. They are also planning a split CD with US gore-grinders The County Medical Examiners that will also eventually see a release on vinyl, too. Keep your eyes peeled.
