Norwegian black-metal band Dimmu Borgir had their show at the Huntridge Theater in Las Vegas on July 30 filmed by director Patric Ullaeus (Lacuna Coil, In Flames). No official word on whether or not there's a DVD in the works, but I'll keep you updated.

Norwegian black-metallers Dimmu Borgir have confirmed that drummer Tony Laureano from Nile will be sitting in with the band for the Ozzfest tour due to the fact that new Danish drummer Reno Kiilerich's slow-going visa processing problems.

Danish metal band Strangler, featuring drummer Reno Kiilerich who's also currently playing with Dimmu Borgir, have posted their entire 4-song 2003 demo online for download: http://www.stranglerfuck.com/

Dimmu Borgir has finally confirmed that Danish drummer Reno Killerich (Panzerchrist, Vile, Human Erupt) will be doing the pounding for the band's upcoming live dates in the US for Ozzfest and whatever else they have scheduled. Killerich recently won the 'fastest feet in the world' title at NAMM convention where he recorded some 800 bass drum hits in a minute.

Rumors abound that Tjodalv might be leaving Susperia to drum for Dimmu Borgir. Or maybe just for OzzFest. But it appears to be untrue, or so says a recent news posting on their website.

Blabbermouth talks to Niklas Barker about his departure from Dimmu Borgir and tries their hardest to get him to talk shit: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=19063

The Great Deceiver recently completed work on a video for the song "Lake of Sulphur" from the band's second album "Terra Incognito", due out in March through Peaceville Records. The clip was filmed at The Revolver Ranch in the Arizona desert with director Patric Ullaeus (Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, Lacuna Coil). As mentioned here before, TGD features vocalist Tomas Lindberg (Disfear, ex-At the Gates) along with Kristian Wahlin and Hans Nilsson from Diabolique.

Speaking of departing metal band members, Nick Barker (ex-Cradle of Filth) has reportedly left Dimmu Borgir. That'd explain the recent tour cancellations. Perhaps we'll get confirmation on that soon.

Swedish black-metal act Dark Funeral has been added to the lineup of the Zyklon Japanese tour now that Dimmu Borgir is off the bill. Zyklon will headline and DF will support. Those dates again:

02/03 - Shibuya Club Quattro, Tokyo
02/04 - Nagoya Club Quattro, Nagoya
02/05 - Shinsaibashi Club Quattro, Osaka

Norweigan black metal act Dimmu Borgir has cancelled their upcoming Australian and Japan tour plans in February. No reason was given for the move, though I assume we'll get an explanation or excuse soon.
