Baby Woodrose is releasing a new album called "Dropout!" on September 20, but it's not a proper full-length. Rather, it's a tribute to the garage=rock groups of the 60s that have influenced the band over the years. Four of the tracks were recording during the sessions for the last album "Money For Soul" and the rest of the lot were done when the project idea was finalized. Tracklist:
01. Can’t Explain (Love)
02. I Lost You In My Mind (The Painted Faces)
03. Who’s It Gonna Be (The Lollipop Shoppe)
04. I Don’t Ever Wanna Come Down (The 13th Floor Elevators)
05. The World Ain’t Round, It’s Square (The Savages)
06. Dropout Boogie (Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band)
07. I’m Going Home (The Sonics)
08. This Perfect Day (The Saints)
09. Not Right (The Stooges)
10. A Child Of A Few Hours (The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band)
The first single will be for the song "Can't explain".

Sweatmaster and Baby Woodrose are teaming up for a split 7" due out in May on Bad Afro Records. The bands will each contribute one cover of the others material, Sweatmaster doing "Pouring Water" from the second Baby Woodrose album "Money For Soul" and Baby Woodrose playing "Hold It!" from Sweatmaster's debut album "Sharp Cut".
After that, Sweatmaster will be doing a mini EP for Bad Afro called "Song With No Words", featuring two new tunes: the title track and "Dirty Little Things". It will also include six covers tunes of Music Machine, Misfits, Modern Lovers, The Wipers, Minor Threat and Money Mark as well. Look for that later this summer with a video to be released in conjunction. As for a new full-length, that should be coming later this summer too.
