Mp3 blog Fat Planet has posted an mp3 from Finnish electronic artist Lackluster: https://www.fatplanet.com.au/
Be sure to check out the song from my friend Owen of Casiotone for the Painfully Alone as well. There is something just so very endearing about his music.

The band features Kenneth from Keep of Kalessin and Torstein of Manes and will release their debut album "Chtonian Lifecode" in early August on Retribute Records.
Swedish all-star classic death-metal act Bloodbath has confirmed September 27 as the release date for their new album "Nightmares Made Flesh" on Century Media.
Cult of Luna has announced that they'll be releasing their new album "Salvation" on October 4 via Earache Records. Recorded as usual at Tonteknik in Umeå by member and staff engineer Magnus Lindberg, the record is described by guitarist/songwriter Johannes Persson as "a natural progression for the band, but we hope it will appeal to a much broader audience than the previous two releases, as the tracks are much more melody-based." The band plans to do a headlining tour of the UK and will announce dates soon.
Candlelight Records will be reissuing all of Emperor's four genre-defining black-metal classics beginning on October 19 with all sorts of bonus material. Details: https://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=25142
I'm not sure how exciting the extra live footage will be, as I thought they were awfully boring when I saw them on their only US tour. I'll probably be content with my remastered version of "In the Nightside Eclipse" from a few years back and will consider the others if there's a significant difference in sound quality.
Nightwish is reportedly in negotiations with a major label for a US release of their recent breakthrough album "Once". The record from the Finnish goth-metal act has done incredibly well in Europe, so it's only natural that they'll receive an extra push in the States. So how long until we see a non-gothic influenced band from Finland receive international mainstream attention?

Vocalist Pete Beck has decided to rejoin Griffin. He originally thought his time in the music biz was over after his heart attack, but now that he's fully recovered, he realized he missed the band and has been welcomed back.
I've added a brand new mp3 from Paddington DC, the solo project of Calle Olsson from Sweden's greatest indierock band The Bear Quartet. The new still-untitled Björn Olsson-produced album comes out soon on Planekonomi.
Also from Planekonomi comes word that they have signed Stockholm-based electronic pop artist Action Biker aka Sarah Nyberg Pergament. A 8-track MCD will be released this coming fall. For soundclips and more info, go here: https://www.actionbiker.tk/
And lastly, in other Planekonomi news, Stella Rocket's next single will be for the song "Regret" and it will be out in September. The Jari Haapalainen-produced full length drops a month later in October.

The track comes from the band's new album "Heroes And Thieves" due out September 1 on Combat Rock Industry.
Pluxus has officially confirmed that they are doing a remix for the b-side of the new Stina Nordenstam single "Get On With Your Life" which comes out in August/September. They say the piece is "a fine electronic piece which shows the direction Pluxus is working in at this time."
A video for the new Tobias Fröberg single "For Elisabeth Wherever She Is" was shot in Sandkvie Studio, Visby, in July and will be released in September.
