Norway's Inferno Festival is going to the UK! Arcturus, Enslaved, Red Harvest, Grimfist and Madder Mortem are the first bands confirmed for the event which is scheduled to take place on January 27 at the Underworld in Camden. As is often the case with such events, there will be press/partner sessions during the day before the show. "The plan is to make this an annual event," says the organizers, "and maybe expand to 2-3 consecutive days, or even different cities."

They also say that the promo edition of the new album "Salvation" that was leaked online is actually an unfinished, unmastered version of the real thing. In order to meet their release schedule they were left little choice but to put out what they had done in time as an advance copy. The real thing comes out on October 4 via Earache Records.
Ideal Recordings will be releasing the new Contemporary Punk Unit 12" "The Renaissance Fix" on October 4. The sound is described as "where dub, ebm and industrial stuff meet." Also coming soon from Ideal are 7"s from avant rock/post no-wave band Knife and Ape and cut-up artist Ass Galaxy.
Swedish rockers United Enemies will shoot their first ever video for the song "Love kills" on September 26 with director Rainer Holmgren (Cosmic Ballroom, Pain Of Salvation).
