Finland's Combat Rock Industry has announced the signing of Unkind. They describe the band as "dark but rocking hardcorepunk in the finest finnish tradition" and say they "take the best influences from the genre and add a modern, strong touch of their own, as well write real, strong songs which is all too rare among the bands in this genre." The band will tour the UK in April with Filthpackt just after releasing the album in March. Here's the dates:

finnish theatrical rockers Lordi have signed an international deal with Sanctuary Records. The band plans to launch a "massive European tour" next spring under the tutelage of EMI-Clear Channel, the same team responsible for the international efforts of countrymates HIM and The Rasmus.
