Today: a song from their 2004 debut "Awake from the dead, my dear best friend". When Niccokick are at their best, as they are on this song, they are hysterical and reckless. As with Håkan Hellström's top-shelf material, the euphoria of being alive is almost too much to take and they can't help but shout it out loud. "Give me sex, give me drugs, give me rock'n'roll!" I want everything that makes life worth living and I want it now! It's about being young and not giving a fuck. Go wild! Get loaded, fall in love, live for the moment! As far as Friday-night anthems go, this is near-perfect.
