Jan Svensson/Pogrom - Happening
The final piece on the upcoming Pogrom album "Electronic music", due out this December via on white vinyl and limited to 300 copies. Pogrom is an old alias of Jan Svensson, the man behind as well as the acts Frak and Alvars Orkester, and said album was originally recorded back in 1990 at Studio Styrka in Johannishus, Sweden.
Swedish Energies Festival comes to Brooklyn
Joachim Nordwall (The Skull Defekts, ) is helping to curate/organize an experimental music fest in Brooklyn at the Issue Project Room on December 2-3 called "Swedish Energies". Artists confirmed so far include Nordwall himself (naturally) and a stripped-down version of The Skull Defekts (in electronic drone mode) as well as Altar of Flies, Carl Michael von Hausswolff, Mats Gustafsson, The Magic State, Sewer Election and much more.
