Pre-orders for Fire!, Motorpsycho begins Monday

Rune Grammofon will beging taking pre-orders for the debut album "You like me five minutes ago" from all-star Swedish freejazz act Fire! on Monday: http://www.runegrammofon.com/artists/fire_/rlp-3091---fire_-you-liked-me-five-ago-_lp_
Fire! consists of Mats Gustafsson (The Thing), Johan Berthling (Tape) and Andreas Werliin (Wildbirds & Peacedrums). The official release date is August 10. Also, note that the new Motorpsycho LP will also be available for preorder next week as well.

Wildbirds & Peacedrums BBC session to air on June 25

Wildbirds & Peacedrums recently recorded an 4-song session for the BBC together with Micachu & the Shapes which will air on June 25 during Late Junction, sometime between 23:15-01:00. Besides being aired live, fans can also stream the archive of the show for a week from the program's website.

'The snake' to get North American release

Wildbirds & Peacedrums' album "The snake" will finally get a North American release on August 25 via The Control Group.

Rune Grammofon is stretching out beyond the confines of Norway (again) and will be releasing the debut album from Swedish act Fire!, an all-star group of sorts featuring Mats Gustafsson (The Thing), Johan Berthling (Tape) and Andreas Werliin (Wildbirds & Peacedrums). Expect it in August.
