Been meaning to get this written up for over a week now, but I haven't found the time and now that I'm about head out on vacation to Sweden for a couple weeks, I figure I need to get at least something up. I know I said I wasn't going to be posting much, but the new Westkust EP is too good to deny. Check out the band's record release show on July 14 at Skjul Fyra Sex in Göteborg.

Westkust - Touch

This here is Westkust's brand new single "Touch", officially out on June 20 via Luxury. A bit more straight-up indiepop/C86-sounding than their great labelmates Makthaverskan, but still possessing a strong postpunk undercurrent. Definitely check this out and keep a lookout for the band's debut EP "Junk" which will be released on July 9.

Luxury has announced that they have signed indie/postpunk act Westkust and will release their new single "Touch" on June 20 with a 12" EP to follow in July.
