Denmark's The Raveonettes have confirmed that their new album "Pretty in black" will be released on May 3 with the first single "Love in a trashcan" set to hit radio sometime around mid-March. The band will also hit the road for an extensive US tour at the end of April and here's what's been confirmed so far:

It's kind of old news by now, but Scandinavian acts The Raveonettes and Shout Out Louds are confirmed to play this year's Coachella Festival.

Pfork also reports today that The Raveonettes teamed up with ex-Velvet Underground drummer Moe Tucker on their new album, but you should already know that by now since the news is three frickin' months old.

Danish label Crunchy Frog is putting out a double-disc comp featuring all 12 of their acts. The first disc will contain just the hits, while the second will have two tracks from each band. Here's the tracklist:
