So I guess V2 is releasing the record in the US? And the reviewer talks about Olof's vocals? WTF? Do your research dammit!

The Knife on their new 10" EP "Gender bender":

"We think it's very exciting to create a vocal from which you can't tell the gender. For us it's a way to loosen up and play with the gender roles, a way to work with our feminist ideas and the the problem with specifying gender roles. Sometimes the voice sounds really male but still there is something very different about it. And sometimes, when the voicetransformer works as its best, the voice sounds really androgynous. To maximise the expression of the song we also like to go into different characters. The voicetransformer makes this easier and the result gets stronger and more clear".

As mentioned before, the record contains three previously released tracks ("Handy-Man", "You Make Me Like Charity" and "Hangin' Out") along with the new song "Manhood". It's out now.

P3 Musikjournalen is saying that pop starlet Robyn will be with various artists such as Klas Åhlund and The Knife on a new album, tentatively due out around summer next year.

The Knife will be releasing a new 10" EP called "Gender bender" in the UK on December 13. Most of the tracks come from the UK edition of "Deep cuts", but there is one exclusive cut. Full tracklist:

A1. Handy-Man
A2. Manhood (exclusive)
B1. You Make Me Like Charity
B2. Hangin' Out

500 copies only.

How cool is this? The Knife will be doing a remix of the next Stina Nordenstam single "Parliament Square" for release in January or February via V2. They are also doing a remix of "Keep you Kimi" for Swedish electronic artist Hird for release on the lounge label DNM (Dealers of Nordic Music).
