Danish indierockers The Floor is Made of Lava have confirmed that their new album, their third overall, will be called "Kids & drunks" and will be released on October 1, both as a regular CD and LP and also as a deluxe digipack edition with bonus tracks.

Danish indierockers The Floor Is Made Of Lava have announced that they will release the new single "Lost in the woods" on June 18, both as a 7" and a digital download. A new full-length album will follow sometime around September/October.

11th Street Kids - One life (video)

New music from 11th Street Kids a sideproject of The Floor is Made of Lava. Pretty forgettable until the sax solo IMO, but who knows? Maybe the album ("Well, what did you expect?", due out April 23) will be better.

All-star Danes launch new label

Danish artists Tobias Kippenberger (The Floor Is Made Of Lava), Sebastian Wolff (Kellermensch) and Simon Kvamm (Nephew/De Eneste To) are launching a new record label together called I Vores Navn (In Our Name) and will be putting out Jonas Breum's (Coolsville/Breum) solo debut as their inaugural release. Look for the lead single "Fjendemin" to be released on January 30 with the rest of the album to come soon thereafter.
