Swedish screamo hardcore act Suis La Lune has posted their contribution to the upcoming Förmögenhet tribute on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/suislalune
In other news, the band recently recorded five new songs and are entertaining the notion of putting them on a 10", but nothing is settled yet.
Swedish punks Förmögenhet (ex-Hanna Hirsch) haven't been around very long - they have a 7" and have performed live once, but they're already working on compiling a tribute album. Not everyone is 100% confirmed yet, but names so far include Suis La Lune, Viktor Sjöberg and Monorail. More details when I get 'em, otherwise expect a springtime release.
The band will also be contributing to the forthcoming "Emo apocalypse" compilation on React With Protest featuring 30-second songs from a whole shitload of bands such as Funeral Diner, The Birds Are Spies They Report to the Trees, Suis La Lune, Catena Collapse and many, many more. Otherwise, the band is in the studio working on their full-lenth debut and hopes to have it done in time for the aforementioned tour.
Ape Must Not Kill Ape and Leaves Records are teaming up to release the debut full-length album from Suis La Lune, the former will handle the CD version and the latter the vinyl. The band's sound is described a mix of screamy hardcore like Funeral Diner mixed with softer moments ala Rites of Spring/Small Brown Bike.
