The new Sissy Wish single "Dance all night with you" is now officially confirmed for release on June 6.
Sissy Wish reports that the new single "Dance all night with you" will be released "soon" and that it "will be the coolest song I have ever released." As for the long-rumored new album "Happy monster", apparently it will be out later this year.
Norwegian pop-black-metal-punks Lydia Laska report that their new album is done and mixed and confirmed for a March 2010 release. I'm not sure if it has a title, but they did say that many fellow Oslo-based artists make guest appearances on said album including Nattefrost (Carpathian Forest), Emil Nikolaisen and Eivind Schou (Serena-Maneesh), Kjetil Møster (Datarock), Sissy Wish and quite a few others. Norway Rat (Årabrot, Noxagt) has signed punk-rockers Lydia Laska and will be releasing the new 7" "Could I have a go on your girl, please?" b/w "Mandy", a new version of the old track from their "We're nothing compared to ourselves" EP. Guests on the a-side include Emil Nikolaisen (Serena Maneesh) on guitar and Sissy Wish on backing vocals. Expect it sometime in November. The band is also working on a new full-length with an eye for a February release.
The Sissy Wish album "Beauties never die" has been licensed for release in Japan this coming September via Flake Records. The new version of the album will include two bonus tracks, the 7" single "Oklahoma" and a remix of "Book" by Halfby. Preview the latter here: http://www.myspace.com/halfby
