I'm still bummed that Randy has postponed their US tour, but at least they'll be making it over here eventually. In other news, the band will be releasing a 7" version of the latest single "X-Ray Eyes" on the UK-based label Must Destory Music. Same songs as the CD version, but different artwork.

Aversionline is updated once again with their usual deluge of record reviews, this time including Ambulance, Article Nine, Burzum, Edge of Sanity, The Gathering, Illdåd, In the Woods, Infamy, Kontrovers, Randy and tons more grind, hardcore, punk, metal and indie-related stuff.
Dammit, it seems those tourdates I had posted for Randy in December aren't happening after all, but will instead be postponed until February. I'll keep you informed.
I know it's not much, but I've got a grand total of two confirmed dates for Randy's upcoming US tour:
12/03 - Black Cat, Washington DC
12/08 - TT the Bears, Cambridge, MA
Without a doubt, more to come soon.
Randy has updated their site with some new pics from their recent Scandinavian tour. Check it.
Besides berating us Californians for electing Arnold Schwarzenegger as governor (don't blame me! I sure as hell didn't vote for him), Randy is saying that their upcoming US tour will begin on November 10. Details when I get 'em.
Check out the new video for "Side by Side" from Swedish hardcore band Misconduct right here. The band is currently planning on doing a number of Scandinavian tourdates later this year and is also working on booking shows in Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Belgium and the UK for February 2004 with plans for the rest of Europe to follow later in the year. Here's the only shows confirmed so far:
10/10 - ELD, Lindesberg (SWE)
10/15 - Sticky Fingers, Gothenburg (SWE) w/Randy (AG-Buller After Party)
Trapdoor Fucking Exit has added Tomas on guitar and occasional keys. He's the same guy who played bass on the band's first tour and is sometimes referred to as their 'secret fifth member'. Well, it's a secret no longer. He might also be recognized as the live sound guy for bands such as Hellacopters, Randy or Meshuggah. In other news, the band will be entering the studio soon to record a couple new things including some material for a 7" on Busted Heads for later this year and a cover of The Minutemen's "This Ain't No Picnic" for a tribute comp due out someday on No Idea. They also say that they'll be coming over to the UK again soon, but there's no details available yet. And lastly, check out this mp3 of them playing "Skatterna Faller" live with the "Swedish version of Sid Vicious", DS-13's 138 on guest vocals.
Here's some pictures from Randy's filming of the video for "X-ray Eyes". And now, as first reported on 09/04, I can finally pass along some of the band's fall Scandinavian tour dates:

10/01 - Klubb Bullit @ Heartbreak Hotel, Gävle
10/02 - Honduras @ Tegelvalvet, Norrköping
10/08 - Norrlands Nation, Uppsala
10/09 - Hamnmagasinet, Umeå
10/10 - Pinkerton, Skellefteå
10/11 - Kåren, Piteå

10/16 - Village, Västerås
10/18 - Smedjan, Köping

11/01 - Brädcentralen, Örebro
Hopefully I get more dates from these guys soon.
Randy will be coming back to the US on tour around November/December this year. No details yet, but it's about time it happened.
Added a whole slew of new mp3s today. There's the first half of a great live set from Randy, but I'm more excited about the semi-exclusive demo track from Isolation Years. "What's the occasion?" you might be thinking. Well, I'm glad you asked! My pals over at Galaxy Gramophone records are gearing up to release the band's amazing first album "Inland Traveller" over here in the US on November 4. "I'm Gonna Flip" is from said record and I strongly encourage you to check it out. The new GG website will debut shortly and we can expect to hear quite a bit of even more exciting news from them in the near future. I'll be sure to keep y'all posted.
