If they actually travel to West Virginia to record with Hasil Adkins, that would be so amazing.

Tons of Scandinavian music is the latest Aquarius Records new release list including Hans Edler, Magyar Posse, Pan Sonic, Aavikko, Finntroll and more: http://www.aquariusrecords.org/cat/newest.html
Not only are there two new radio playlists added on the right, but there's also a new album of the month. Koma is a great band that manages to strike the perfect balance between heaviness and melody. Members of The Perishers and Cult of Luna and totally worth checking out. As for the radio stuff, take your pic between some sweet, summer pop tunes, both new and old. Or chill out with a selection of instrumental music, from noisy electronics a la Pan Sonic, to gentle jazz from Tord Gustavsen to epic post-rock from Magyar Posse. Or listen to both - the choice is yours.
Pan Sonic - Kesto (Mute)
Four CDs makes for quite an intimidating listen and I'm just having trouble getting past how awesome disc one is. This is Pan Sonic at their most melodic and beat-heavy. It's brutal, distorted and ugly and I love it. I'll probably get to the rest of the set eventually, I just don't feel very compelled to do so yet.

Pan Sonic has been confirmed for two new festival appearances this summer, the Musiques Innovatrices in Saint-Etienne, France on June 10-18 and the Synch, Lavrio Technological & Cultural Park in Athens, Greece on June 3-5. More info on the first one here, the latter here.
I added the rest of those Pan Sonic live mp3s as well. Great stuff, of course. Be sure to check out the new 4xCD 'album' "Kesto" that just came out, too.
