Vladislav Delay Quartet album on the way

The Vladislav Delay Quartet, featuring the namesake artist AKA Sasu Ripatti plus fellow Finn Mika Vainio (Pan Sonic) as well as previous V. Delay collaborators Derek Shirley and Lucio Capece, will be releasing a new self-titled album in May via Honest Jon's, the same label as another one of Ripatti's other projects, the Moritz von Oswald Trio.

Monday is Memorial Day

That means two things. First, there will be no repeat of my radio show, so if you want to listen, you'll need to tune in on Sunday (that's 11pm ET on Sirius XMU). Like always, I'll be playing a ton of great new music (The Bear Quartet, Dear Euphoria, Pan Sonic, Haust, etc.). Secondly, updates here will probably be pretty sparse as I'll hopefully be off doing other things besides sitting in front of the computer. Thanks!

Progress to release debut album from Kopfer Kat

Swedish EBM/industrial label Progress Productions has announced that they will be releasing Kopfer Kat's debut full-length album "Skrammelpop" in Scandinavia on May 26, everywhere else on May 28. Check out a few samples at the duo's website: http://www.kopferkat.se/
Sounds like a more club-friendly Pan Sonic, so be sure to check it out if you're into that kind of thing (I am).
