New mp3 up today from up-and-coming punk rockers C.Aarmé. Look for their debut full-length on Burning Heart later on this year. Also added a new streaming radio show from Niklas Holmberg. He runs the very excellent Nicolai Dunger fansite at nicolaidunger.tk and The (International) Noise Conspiracy fansite at theblastoff.tk. His playlist is broken into four sections: rock'n'roll, melancholic, Refused-related and instrumental. All very cool, so be sure to check it out.

There's some new pics of Broder Daniel up at Rockfoto.nu.

"Let's Grow Together - The Comeback Of St. Thomas" is title of the new record from Norweigan singer/songwriter St. Thomas, due out on January 12 on Racing Junior. This will mark his fourth album and it's being hailed as a comeback both musically and personally. St. Thomas himself also played most of the instruments, co-produced and made the cover art. There will also be a release on 12" vinyl and an "exclusive" 7", but I don't have the details on those yet. ST got a bit of international hype with his last release, but it never really translated into big sales abroad. Maybe this time will be different. For those curious about his sound, a good point of reference would be Nicolai Dunger (whose own new EP "Hunger" is quite good).

Here's another flash e-card, this time for Nicolai Dunger featuring his new single "Hunger". I do believe it will actually hit stores tomorrow despite the previously announced delay. The title of his new album has also been confirmed and it's a doozy: "Here’s my song, you can have it... I don’ want it anymore /Yours 4-ever Nicolai Dunger". Awesome.

According to a posting on the Christian Kjellvander website, the scheduled Nicolai Dunger/Christian Kjellvander shows in Helsingborg and Västerås (10/23-14) have been cancelled.

Niklas from nicolaidunger.tk recently got a chance to preview the new Nicolai Dunger album that he recorded with Mercury Rev and this is what he had to say:

"Yesterday I and Joakim were invited to listen to a couple of tracks from the forthcoming album. We didn’t know what to expect since Mercury Rev has produced it but a lot of it sounded really good. It’s a pretty wide album with different types of songs, poppy ones and more traditional sounding ones that we’re used to when it comes to Nicolai. Of course the more traditional ones sounded best at the moment but I’m sure I’ll love the other ones too when I’ve gotten the chance to listen to them a few more times. I’m really looking forward to the release which probably will be at the end of January."

He also adds news that the single "Hunger" will not be released on October 8 as originally planned, but rather will be available on the upcoming tour and will then hit stores in November.

Looks like that Nicolai Dunger "Tour Edition EP" that's coming out in advance of the upcoming jaunt with Christian Kjellvander (see 08/21 for dates) isn't really an EP at all. It's actually gonna be a single and here's the tracklist:

01. Hunger
02. Slaves (we're together like)
03. City sun

The first tracks are from the forthcoming album and the third is exclusive to this release. It hits stores October 8, but will be available at the shows for a special price. A video for "Hunger" is being done by Håkan Schüler/Maremma Produktion AB and should be out soon. And finally, Nicolai has been voted #18 of the top 33 sexiest men in the Swedish edition of Elle magazine.
