This will probably the first and last time I mention them since they are more of an American band than otherwise: ex-Junior Senior member Jesper Mortensen (aka Junior/I Scream Ice Scream) has a new NYC-based group with fellow Dane Anders Christiansen and two American ladies called Make Out and you can hear their debut single "I don't want anybody that wants me" at myspace: http://www.myspace.com/makeoutwithfacebook
Sounds pretty damn tepid to me, but there you go. Let us never mention their name again.

After attempting a Raveonettes song and then Junior Senior, they settled on "Lovesong" by First Floor Power in a version they describe as "Timberlake vs funk-Meshuggah." The entire collection "Saluting the Crunchy Frog-a-logue" comes out September 5.
Crystal Sky Butterfly is the name of a new Danish supergroup of sorts featuring members from the Junior Senior backing band plus folks from Broken Beats and Superheroes. The band's debut single "When the saints" is out now and their debut album "Family silver" will be officially released on August 22 via Strange Ears as a digital download. I Scream Ice Cream, the solo act of Jesper Mortensen aka Junior from Junior Senior, will release his debut album "Me too" on May 26. The first single "Trust tissue" is out to radio now.
This is my "Nosy Parker" - a six year-old border collie. He's named after a street in Berkeley and was a last-minute rescue from the animal shelter in Sacramento. As is the nature with most BCs, Parker has his nose in everything and demands the be the center of attention.
Posted below is "Nosy Parker" from The Tremolo Beer Gut. They're a retro instumental act from Denmark with a new album called "Nous sommes The Tremolo Beer Gut. Qui le fuck êtes-vous?" out now on Crunchy Frog. Like many of their labelmates (Junior Senior, Powersolo, etc.), there's a definite kitsch-factor to what they do, but they do it well enough to deflect most criticism. However, as an instrumental act, I'd have to say that their crossover potential is severely diminished. This here is a fun little track with a hot guitar solo, but I'm gonna have to say that I prefer my own Parker overall.
