Rune Grammofon showcase in Ireland

Rune Grammofon acts In the Country and Susanna will appear together at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, Ireland on January 22.

Morten Qvenild from Norwegian jazz trio In the Country will be going to Atlantis Studios in Stockholm in January to record his DnBNOR/Kongsberg Jazz Festival award-winning composition. Expect a release sometime later on in the year via Rune Grammofon.

Besides acclaimed musicians such as Arve Henriksen, Mari Boine, Susanna and In the Country, the 8-day festival will also feature a reading by crime author Jo Nesbø, film and theater performances and much more. See the link for details.

Personally, I feel it doesn't grab me as much as their debut, but I still need to spend more time with it before I pass final judgement.
