Looks like the plans for drummer Frost (Satyricon, 1349) to collaborate with fellow Norwegian black-metallers Gorgoroth have been called off. According to a statement from Khaoz Productionz, Frost is way too busy with his other projects to give the Gorgoroth work the attention it deserves. 1349 and Gorgoroth plan to tour Europe together in October.

Black-metal band Gorgoroth has reportedly left Nuclear Blast. It has also been reported that drummer Kvitrafn has parted ways with the group and has already been replaced by Frost (Satyricon, 1349). And if you remember, the band was recently in a bit of hot water regarding blashpemy accusations stemming from a recent show in Poland. More soon?

Norwegian electronic act Frost is heading to Tanzania. Here's the scoop, straight from the source:

"Per and Aggie are on their way to Dar Es Salaam to do a concert in collaboration with musicians from Tanzania. The event will take place Friday the 23rd of April at the Royal Norwegian Embassy and His Royal Highness, The Crown Prince of Norway, will be attending.
Per and Aggie have been working with musicians from Tanzania before and are thrilled to meet the muscians of Marimba Studio again. The recordings from Africa and the work they have done together will be resulting in a CD, hopefully to be released this fall. It'll be exiting to hear what the sound of these two diverse worlds of frost and heat will sound like..."
