Swedish death-metal legends Dismember, Entombed, Grave and Unleashed will team up for a European tour together in November. Dates and details soon.

Demilich, Anata, Disfear and Dismember will be representing Scandinavia at next year's Maryland Death Fest at Sonar in Baltimore on May 27-28. Details: http://www.supremebrutality.com/fest

Dismember has confirmed that their new album "The god that never was" will be released January 27 via Regain Records.

Bassist Johan Bergebäck has left long-running Swedish death-metal act Dismember. The band is currently seeking a replacement, so if you think you've got what it takes, send an email to dismemberbooking@hotmail.com.

Legendary Swedish death-metallers Dismember will enter Sami Studio in Stockholm on August 15 to begin recording their next album. Drummer Fred Estby will produce once again and it should be out some time around mid-January.

Souldevourer is the name of a new old-school Swedish death-metal band founded by ex-Dismember/Unleashed guitarist Robert Sennebäck. Joining him on the new project are fellow scene veterans Ola Lindgren (Grave, guitar) and Joakim Sterner (Necrophobic, drums). More info: http://www.souldevourer.se/

Dismember's back catalogue of Swedish death-metal classics will be reissued by Regain Records in June in special double-album editions. Here's the schedule:

06/20 - "Massive Killing Capacity" / "Death Metal"
06/27 - "Hate Campaign" / "Complete Demos"

Dismember has recruited Johan Bergebäck as their new bassplayer. The guy who used to hold down the job, Rickard Cabeza, lives in Texas nowadays, so needless to say, the whole commuter was not working out. Johan has been supporting the band as a session player for some time now, so it's a natural fit.
