The band also plans to enter Gula Studion in Malmö with longtime producer Jens Lindgård (Franz Ferdinand, Cardigans, Saint Etienne) sometime later this spring.
David & the Citizens will be doing a live radio session at SBN Radio, the UK's CMJ station on January 12 at 10pm GMT. Listen online at www.sbn.co.uk.
David & the Citizens will be returning to London on January 30 when they will once again play Strange Fruit at The Spitz with UK band Fonda 500.
In related news, head over to the Adrian Recordings website to buy a cover version of "Songs Against Life", as done by Tallahasse, Florida-based band Plastic Mastery on their "Sverige EP". The band borrowed D&tC's backline at 2002's Emmaboda fest and have been admirers ever since.
Lake of Tears will enter the studio on February 13 to begin work on their new album, tentatively titled "Black Brick Road". An August release on Noise Records is expected.

All you people in London, don't forget that Swedish troubadors David & the Citizens are doing two shows this coming Saturday December 20 when they play both Strange Fruit's Christmas party and Rough Trade RoTa Session's Christmas Bash. Both performances will be acoustic and you can get all the other details such as price and location on the poster, as seen right here.
David & the Citizens and Björns Vänner will be playing live on the P3 Swedish radio program "Så funkar det" on December 26 at 5pm and it will be replayed on New Year's Eve beginning at 9pm. As always, you can listen live via the P3 website.
David & the Citizens will be doing a special one-off show at Musikenshus in Göteborg on December 13 to celebrate the release of their new single "Graycoated Mornings".
