Finnish indiepop act Cats on Fire report that the have completed their sophomore album and say it will be released on March 14 via Johanna Kustannus.

Cats On Fire, one of Finland's best-known indiepop bands, has signed with Johanna Kustannus, one of the country's biggest and most respected indie labels. The band will record their sophomore album in August with an eye for an early 2009 release.

Scandinavian acts Cats On Fire, Love Dance and This Year's Model will play the Marsh-Marigold 20th Anniversary Festival on July 18-19 at Prinzenbar in Hamburg, Germany.

The lineup for this year's NYC Popfest is now 100% confirmed and the Scandinavian artists playing are Cats on Fire, Friday Bridge, Love Is All and Oh! Custer. More info: http://www.nycpopfest.org/
