Baby Woodrose is releasing a new album called "Dropout!" on September 20, but it's not a proper full-length. Rather, it's a tribute to the garage=rock groups of the 60s that have influenced the band over the years. Four of the tracks were recording during the sessions for the last album "Money For Soul" and the rest of the lot were done when the project idea was finalized. Tracklist:
01. Can’t Explain (Love)
02. I Lost You In My Mind (The Painted Faces)
03. Who’s It Gonna Be (The Lollipop Shoppe)
04. I Don’t Ever Wanna Come Down (The 13th Floor Elevators)
05. The World Ain’t Round, It’s Square (The Savages)
06. Dropout Boogie (Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band)
07. I’m Going Home (The Sonics)
08. This Perfect Day (The Saints)
09. Not Right (The Stooges)
10. A Child Of A Few Hours (The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band)
The first single will be for the song "Can't explain".

The new self-titled record from these guys has been a long time coming, so I'm excited to be able to provide the first taste. It's out now in Sweden on Brass Button and will be coming in October in the US via Parasol/Hidden Agenda.
