I hear that Dissection filmed a video for their new single "Maha Kali" in Stockholm last weekend. Sadly, no more details are available at this time, but I'm sure we'll hear more soon.
New mp3 today from Audrey, one of the many fine post-rock bands on A Tenderversion Recordings. They'll be playing a record release party for their new EP at Bommens Salonger in Göteborg on Friday along with Boy Omega who are celebrating the release of their debut album. Labelmates Scraps of Tape will perform as well.
Big thanks to everyone for making this summer's For the Record shows at Café String in Stockholm such a success! It went so well, it looks like they'll probably continue doing shows on a regular basis.

Kaizers Orchestra will not be touring again for a year after the Rockefeller show in Oslo on September 11, but the band members will still be keeping busy. Janove is releasing a solo album in September and guitarist Terje Killmaster Kaizer's punk band Skambankt has a debut release set for mid-October. They plan to then reconvene around February/March next to year to record the band's next full-length.
Finnish acts Viola and Iconcrash will be teaming up for a split relase on If Society/Futurecords in October. Each band will contribute one original tune and one cover of eachother. In other words, Viola covers Iconcrash and vice versa. The two will also be touring together a bit this fall and winter, so keep your eyes open for dates.
