Peter, Bjorn and John's new album "Falling out" has been confirmed for an October 20 release via Planekonomi. The first single "It beats me every time" came out earlier this summer and is the kick-off track on my upcoming comp. The new single is an older song by The Concretes called "Teen love" and should be hitting radio soon. There will be a special record release show at Svenska Musikklubben on October 13. Marduk has revealed that the title of their next album will be "Plague Angel". It's tentatively due out around mid-October from Regain Records.

John Alexander Ericson has announced that his new acoustic album "Savannah Songs" is finished and just about ready for release. The barebones album contains nine tracks that consists solely of voice, guitar, string machine and the backing vocals of Lisa Veit. Swedish singer/songwriter Johan Bergqvist finally secured himself a proper distribution deal and will be rereleasing all three of his records in Sweden on October 13.

Rumor has it that Blindside had their gear, personal belongings and even their passports stolen while on tour in Texas. I feel awful for them, but you gotta realize that it's like the 10th band that's had this happen this year alone. Seriously people, have someone sleep in the van. Pack in your gear. Do what you gotta do.

Arch Enemy will be releasing a new EP called "Dead Eyes See No Future" on November 15 in Europe and November 30 in North America via Century Media Records. The disc was originally released as a special tour promo in Japan, but this new edition will feature an extra live track and a video. Full tracklist:
