Junior Senior recently completed a remix for the Le Tigre track "Nanny Nanny Boo Boo" that should see the light of day in various formats around mid-October. "We have always been big fans of Le Tigre and it's an honour for us to have worked with them," they say. There's plans to do yet another as-yet-unnamed remix and then it's back to the studio to work on the next album.

Joey Jordison of Slipknot will be sitting in for Frost when Satyricon tours the US again in December, due to the former's inability to get visa clearance. Frost has a prior conviction on his record from an assault charge some ten years ago and has been repeatedly denied US access because of it. This isn't Jordison's first time filling in for another band either - some of you might recall that he filled in for a sick Lars Ulrich of Metallica at the UK's Download Festival. Could be cool - even if you're not a Slipknot maggot, it's hard to deny the guy's talent. Tentative dates:

New mp3 from Viola today, courtesy of the fine people at If Society. This track comes from the band's upcoming split with fellow Finns Iconcrash and is probably best described as dramatic, dark pop. As with everything If Society puts out, it's definitely interesting and worth checking out. It's always a pleasure to find a label that is unafraid to not only dabble in a number of genres, but to also do it well.
