I suppose this means they've dropped off the lineup for the US ExMS showcase?

It's a new month, so that means it's time for a new album spotlight. My selection for March is the very excellent self-titled debut album from Det Gamla Landet. Check out the mp3 for download in the playlist and if you like what you hear, which I'm pretty sure you will, go on and buy the CD.

I neglected to mention it yesterday, but if you like that EST track I posted you should take note of their extensive tour schedule as I hear they are even better live. They have almost all of 2005 booked solid already, so head over to their website to see if they're playing somewhere near you: https://www.est-music.com

Finnish vocal group Värttinä reports that they have begun rehearsals this week for their tenth studio album and will be entering the studio in August to begin recording. Crescens Collective members Parca Pace, Mago and Azure Skies will be performing at this year's Cornerstone Festival to take place in Bushnell, IL from June 30-July 3. More info: https://www.cornerstonefestival.com/

Fluxblog posts a track from Bertine Zetlitz today: https://www.fluxblog.org/2005/03/tell-me-are-we-having-fun-howling-hex.html
Considering all the hype poured onto Annie by Flux and other mp3 blogs, I'm thinking Bertine is next in line.

Germany's Dockyard1 Records has licensed "Black Nails and Bloody Wrists" from Danish hardcore act As We Fight for a worldwide release in May. The record was originally released by Good Life Recordings last April.
