Swedish label Lady Godiva Operations has officially called it quits. Release the Bats will probably take most of their left over records.

Norwegian singer/songwriter William Hut is back from summer vacation and reports that he recorded three new songs over the summer, but isn't sure that they're right for the new album so he's going to go back to doing demos again. The plan is to finish everything in time for a spring 2006 release. In other news, he's also started working with Orbo and the Longshots as his new backing band and will be doing a few gigs around Bergan in the near future.

Norwegian singer/songwriter Ane Brun is coming to the US - her album "A Temporary Dive" will be released over here in early 2006. And to help build the antipation, Ane will be playing some shows on these shores in late October. So far all that's booked are two nights (October 25+26) at the Living Room in NYC, but more will probably be on the way.
