Germany's Decoder Records has licensed "I name you isolation" from Boy Omega. It will come out on October 17. And then in November the label will release Bear Quartet's excellent "Angry brigade" and Vega's "Sole love" over there. More details tbc.

SVT2 is launching a new program called Musikbyrån: Live this fall that will be showing 30-minute clips from various bands. Here's a selection of the Scandinavian artists they'll be featuring this coming season:

Norway's Kaizers Orchestra are the spotlight artist over at Allmusic.com right now. I'm happy to see the band get more international attention, but I have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed by the new record "Maestro". It's the epitome of a major-label debut. The songs are still good, but the performances are stilted and the recording is totally overproduced. Where's the danger? Where's the fun? (via)

Mayhem has decided upon "Ordo ab chao" as the title for their next album, tentatively due out late 2005/early 2006 via Season of Mist. This record marks the return of original session vocalist Attila Csihar who first appeared on 1993's legendary "De mysteriis dom sathanas".
