Norwegian electro act Mental Overdrive will be releasing their new single "Elephantastic!" in a completely unconventional way - not digitally, not on limited vinyl, but instead on eBay in a limited edition of one. The winner of the auction will then be able to do pretty much whatever they want with the track, that is assuming they act in accordance with the ascribed "some rights reserved" Creative Commons copyright. Of course, all commercial applications are subject to the usual mechanical royalty fees and so forth. Keep an eye out for it to hit the auction block on June 1.
