The Ark have announced that they will cease to be after releasing a final greatest hits collection and doing one last tour: https://thearkworld.com/2010/12/08/greatest-hits-album-och-avskedsturne/
As with all "greatest hits" anthologies, The Ark's "Arkeology", due out February 23, will of course contain a new single entitled "Breaking up with god" as well as another new one called "The apocalypse is over".

At the Gates return to the stage in 2011

Swedish metal legends At the Gates report that they'll be doing a few more live gigs in 2011 after having so much fun on their first successful reunion tour run in 2008. First confirmed: Metal Town in Göteborg on June 17. Thankfully, the band also says they are still committed to not making any more new music.
