Motorpsycho planning two albums, tour

Motorpsycho is planning on releasing a live album later this year as well as a new studio record based on the material they performed with Ståle Storløkken and the Trondheim Jazzorkester at last year's Moldejazz Festival. Also, in addition to the band's previously announced album featuring Daniel Higgs, now revealed to be called "Peer Amid" and due out soon via , the band will also be releasing yet another full-length LP via called "The slow storm". No release date yet, but I'll keep you posted.

Ice concerts coming to the UK

Norwegian composer/artist Terje Isungset will be taking his fantastic "Ice Concerts" to the UK for a series of performances later this month: https://www.listento.no/mic.nsf/doc/art2011010610593557071641
For those unaware, Isungset performs his special ice music on instruments, both wind and percussion, made completely out of ice.

Sounds Nordic, Sounds Good festival in Zürich

The Embassies of Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway are collaborating together on a Scandinavian music showcase in Zürich, Switzerland entitled "Sounds Nordic, Sounds Good!". The inaugural event will happen on January 16 and will feature representatives from each of the four countries: Saybia, Sivert Høyem, The Amplifetes and Sweatmaster. New Hell On Wheels album finally coming

The new Hell On Wheels album "One ros" will finally be out later this month on following a 3-year gap since the release of previous album "The odd church". The band will celebrate with a release show at Debaser in Stockholm on January 22 and if the PR is on point, we can also expect a split 7" tribute to NZ indie legends The Chills featuring Peter Bjorn and John to be released soon as well.

New dates are now confirmed for this season's It's a Trap! Clubnights at Debaser Malmö! First, we have the already-confirmed Last Days of April/Leaders Off show on January 22 and now we have also added Kvelertak + InSekt on February 4 and Pascal + Sad Day for Puppets on April 9. Be there!

Trust album confirmed

has confirmed that Trust's full-length debut "From light into mass" will be released on January 31. I managed to listen to about 2/3rds of it last night and it's pretty cool; definitely well worth checking out for anyone into the label's other releases (Menfolk, Obstacles, etc.) or heavy math-rock in general. Starmarket to perform Four Hours Light

Speaking of Starmarket, the band has announced that they'll be doing a one-off gig at the winter festival Sant Feliu in Spain on February 4 where they'll be performing the entire "Four hours light" album in full, track by track. And in case you were wondering as I was, the lineup will be Patrik Bergman, Fredrik Brändström, Jesper Lofroth and Pontus Levahn.
