Dreamboy will be going back into the studio to record a couple new tracks later this month. No word yet on how they'll be used, but I'll keep you posted.

Swedish indie artist Juni Järvi will be composing music for the upcoming documentary "Pojktanten", starring Eli Levén. The film is directed by Ester Martin Bergsmark ("Svälj", "Maggie vaknar på balkongen"). Annika Norlin is currently in the studio with Andreas Mattson (Popsicle, etc.) working on a new Hello Saferide album. A tentative release date has been set for September.

Swedish artist Marit Bergman has signed to Hypnote in the US. More details to come.

Norwegian experimental noiserock act Puma has confirmed that their new album will out on April 15. Look for international tourdates to be announced soon.

Cult of Luna sideproject Khoma report that they've begun pre-production on their next album and have six new songs written.

Racing Junior and The Norwegian Council for Mental Health have created a new memorial trust in the name of singer/songwriter Saint Thomas to raise money for improved mental health care and support for young people and to help produce more public dialog on the subject. A box set and memorial concert is being put together for October to help raise funds for the cause.

Danish act Mew will head to Brooklyn in May to record their next album. They'll be working with producer Rich Costey, the same guy who produced the excellent "Frengers" record.

It appears the The Deer Tracks' upcoming record "Aurora" is being held captive by Finnish label Next Big Thing. The band signed with them back in December, but keeps finding the release date getting pushed back further and further with the label becoming increasingly distant.
