Swedish roots trio Baskery (ex-Slaptones) has confirmed their debut full-length album "Fall among thieves" will be released on May 7. Förmögenhet will be contributing three songs to an upcoming 7" split with Svartenbrandt, Bad Amputation and Instängd to be released on Den Magiska Cirkeln. More details to come.

Dates for Björn Kleinhenz's spring tour are starting to be confirmed and I'm posting them in the sidecolumn as fast as I can. Also, keep an eye out for the third edition of his "Bone" digital release series which should be available somewhat soon (of course it's okay!).

Danish avant-pop artist Marybell Katastrophy, one of my current faves, will release the new EP "You are the two" on March 12. As with her last EP "This is the one", it will be released as a digital download and on 10" vinyl except that this time, each one of the 500 physical copies will be hand-painted. Karin Dreijer Andersson (The Knife) and John Eriksson (Peter Bjorn and John) will be contributing b-side remixes to the new First Floor Power single "It's an interview". As mentioned last week, the group just signed to Danish label Crunchy Frog who will be releasing their new album "Don't back down!" on May 5.

Danish dirtball rockers Leathervein (nee Virgin Suicide) recorded a new album over the weekend at Mission Hall in southern Sweden. No word on how/when it'll be released, but I'll keep you posted.
