Danish artist Asger Tarpgaard (ex-Superheroes, Private) is working on a solo album under the name Music For Modern Man. He'll be working with various collaborators on said project, including people from fellow Danish acts Oh No Ono, The Blue Van, Vincent Van Go Go, Superheroes. Tragic news: Anders Göthberg, guitarist in Broder Daniel (and Honey Is Cool), committed suicide last Sunday by jumping from the Västerbron bridge in Stockholm. He will be missed.

Surferosa's 3rd album "The beat on the street" is confirmed for release on April 7 in Norway with other terrorities to follow later.

Drummer Poplars is taking a break from Hästpojken for awhile. Taking his place at upcoming gigs will be Nico Janco from Whyte Seeds.

Atlantic Records has reportedly signed Lykke Li over here in the States and will be the ones responsible for releasing her debut album "Youth novels" later this year.

Invasionen, the new version of Umeå all-stars The Lost Patrol Band, has uploaded a bunch of new Swedish-language demo tracks to myspace: https://www.myspace.com/lostpatrolband
The band is planning on writing new songs this spring and hopefully recording this summer.

Lykke Li's "Little bit" EP will receive a proper US release on May 6 via the artist's own LL Recordings. The full-length "Youth novels" will follow later this year.

Finnish artist Kimmo Pohjonen will be taking his Earth Machine Music project on tour in the UK this coming May. Said project features compositions inspired by and using samples of agricultural machines, such as tractors, milking machines, threshers and so on. Norwegian indiepop act Herr Nilsson will release a new 4-track EP called "Tuesday is my birthday" on April 28 via Karisma Records. Said EP includes three new tracks recorded with Yngve Sætre at Duper Studio plus a remix of "Downhill thrill" as done by Kaptein Kaliber.
