Swedish ambient/industrial artist Raison d'Être has two new albums for sale as digital downloads. One is a live recording from 2007 entitled "Live Archive 3" and the second is a reissue of their very first release from 1992 "Aprés nous le Déluge", originally put out by the early Cold Meat Industry sub-label Sound Source. IAT.MP3 artists Imagine I Had Hands recently finished recording four new tracks with producer/engineer Jakob Hvitnov (Barra Head). No word on any official release yet, but expect to hear them on myspace soon.
The Raveonettes have wrapped up their US tour and are now working on recording three new 3-4 track EPs for release this coming fall, the first due in September. Norwegian noise titan Lasse Marhaug will premiere a new commissioned work at the Henie-Onstad Art Centre in Høvikodden, Norway this Sunday. The piece utilizes material from the Henie-Onstad sound archives and is described by the artist as "a manic tape-cut-up avalanche."
