Will Oldham to cover Susanna

Will Oldham aka Bonnie Prince Billy guested on Susanna's (aka Susanna Wallumrød of Susanna and the Magical Orchestra) recent solo album and now he's actually gone and recorded two of her songs ("Stay" and "People living") for an upcoming 7" on Drag City.

Nomethod moves up Aerial, more

Nomethod has moved up the release of the new Aerial album "Put it this way in headlines" to October 22. Expect preorders to be available soon. In related news, labelmates Mixtapes & Cellmates will release their new album "Rox" on October 28 and it will also be available on both 12" vinyl and cassette. The 2nd single "Soft eyes" will be released the same day and will be available as a limited 7" via Fasaden Records b/w the songs "A brighter place to go" and "On fire".

Thorsten Flinck to National

National has signed actor/musician Thorsten Flinck and will be releasing a new album next spring.

The Book of Daniel will be back in 2010

Broder Daniel box coming in December

The new Broder Daniel limited edition 2DVD/2CD box set "Broder Daniel forever" will be released on December 2 and in addition to the new documentary film on the band, it will also include previously unreleased live footage.

Lise Westzynthius covers Sebastian

Danish artist Lise Westzynthius, together with friends/countrymates Søren Bigum (Our Broken Garden) and Moogie Johnson (Munck//Jonnson), have recorded a cover of the Sebastian song "Jennys himmelfærd" for inclusion on an upcoming tribute comp entitled "En hyldest til Sebastian" which is due out October 26. Sad Day For Puppets to release new UK single, tour

Swedish indie/shoegazers Sad Day For Puppets will be releasing a new 7" via UK label Sonic Cathedral featuring new recordings of "When you tell me that you love me" and "Withering petals and dust", two tracks that appeared on their debut album "Unknown colors". The official release date is November 16, right on time for the band's next jaunt over to that part of the world:
