JR Ewing's most recent album "maelstrom" will finally get a mainland European release via the new German label motor music. Look for it December 2. As for the UK, the release will be handled by Plastic Head sublabel Golf Records, joining friends and countrymen Amulet who are already on the label. It comes out there on November 14. As for the US, nothing has been settled on yet, but it should hopefully be worked out soon.

Bone Voyage Recording Company, the self-run label of cult Finnish garage rockers 22-Pistepirkko, has announced that they have bought back the rights for a number of 22PP's early releases and will reissuing them in new, expanded editions on both CD and vinyl. They have also decided to branch out and sign a few new and up-and-coming artists to the label as well as all 22PP-related sideprojects and art activities. Here's the updated release schedule:
