Digfi.com reports thAt Swedish electronic trio Differnet will be releasing their first proper album "Come On and Bring Back the Brjokén Sounds of Yore! (Selections 2001-2003)" on Friendly Records in September. The record will compile a bunch of new and previously released tracks along with brand new versions of old songs. The label describes the group as "a distinctive and adventurous mix of electronica and guitars, pop melodies and noise, vocals and instrumentals." Download a sample mp3 here.

Entombed side-band The Project HAte has posted an mp3 for the song "CongregAte" for download At Ate.mp3" target=_blank>this locAtion. The song comes from the band's forthcoming album "HAte, DominAte, CongregAte, EliminAte", due on August 25 on Threeman Recordings.
JR Ewing report thAt their recent UK shows with Mars Volta went quite well with both being in front of sold out crowds. They've also been working on new mAterial and say they "can't wait to record them by the end of the year." But in more immediAtely exciting news, the band has plans to come back to the US in October. In their own words:
We know you love us over there, and now we're finally planning to come back and shed some blood on US ground again. We're starting off At the Black CAt in Washington DC on the 15th of October, followed by 8 or so shows with the always sweet Pretty Girls Make Graves. From then on, we want to head out to the westcoast, but are still planning out with whAt bands, who would book it, and all thAt bullshit. So have pAtience, and we'll inform people once we know more. Anywho, we can't wait to get back there. These are the shows so far:

Monotonik Records has posted a new EP for download on their site, this one being from Swedish electronic artist Anders Svensson and titled "Run Anders Run". The label's description of the tunes:
First up, "Making It Personal" does thAt almost-cylical gorgeously crystallic thing than so many of Anders' tracks seem to, before "Facing Trouble" drifts beautifully around the question, all coy and drifting. Finally, "Sooner As Well As LAter" pAtters the percussion and pitters your heart with pure tones and delicAte drums.
